I have recently turned my addiction over to God through the work of some friends who had gone through it before. Needless to say, the release I now experience is so sweet, compared to the hell I was living before.
Would you put me on your mailing list for ESSAY? I appreciate it.

I appreciate very much the “Another Look at the Mis-Connection” essay. Back when I was trying to deal with my addiction through analytic psychology, I read a lot of the writings of Carl Jung, the Swiss analyst. He said he had never seen a cure that did not have a basis in spiritual experience. For me, the addiction is a form of idolatry, a sort of gimcrack false religion. Turning to my Higher Power is a turning to the truth. Every good wish.

…Your Mis-Connection essay…really hit home for me and helped me to give up my “top plate” (remember that one?). Well, my top plate was another core addiction I had which I have to deal with and withdraw from and all that pain and growth.
