The holiday season can be the most difficult time of year for many of us, myself included, but it is important to remember that we truly are blessed. Blessed with friends who care about what happens in our lives—friends who care about us in spite of our past, not because of it. If I have learned nothing else during my time in SA, I have learned that I never need to be alone again.
Yes, blessed indeed! I am honored to be associated with such a fine group of folks that I would not otherwise have had the opportunity to know. Regardless of how I feel physically, emotionally, or spiritually, there is always someone I can reach, either by phone or just by sending up a prayer on the wings of love. If I can remember to ask God, as I understand God, to help me to reach out to another sexaholic, I stand a good chance of remaining sober today.
As I thank God tonight for another day of sobriety, I pray for all of you who have shared your sobriety with me in this great fellowship of SA.
