Giles and I have formed a group of two and are eager to welcome new members. We have been meeting for about three months.
I have spoken with several ministers and one counselor around town, telling them about the program. People in my other support groups know about it. But we are not widely known and few have asked me about it. I think that people will try anything else before they resort to the 12 Steps, and they will try any other 12-Step group before they come to SA. I put it off for six years. Although I had admitted to a problem with lust for many years, and had put considerable effort into forming a group here in Jennings, I was totally astonished at our first meeting to realize that lust has been the underlying horror throughout all these years of sickness and recovery, and that I really need the group. I am grateful to you for the fine work you are doing.
