Dear ESSAY,

I am writing for two reasons. First, I have been receiving your ESSAY Journal for several years now, and the articles within it have changed my life and changed the inner person of who I really am.

Second, I’ve learned so much from the ESSAY Journal that I feel like I’ve actually graduated from a comprehensive, in-depth course on the sensitive subjects SA teaches by reading what others afflicted with the disorder of irrational thinking have written about through their own experiences.

I am incarcerated due to the irrational act I committed in the past. Your journal and SA have opened my eyes to things I’d never before considered, but now reflect on every day.
