My name is Eric S. and I am a gratefully recovering sexaholic. I have been sexually sober for over five months and am on my Fourth Step.

I attended an SA conference last year and shared in a meeting that I have a problem with television that I can’t control — which in fact controls me. To my surprise I found that there were others who shared they had this same problem. I have come to find that sharing with others who identify with this problem seems to help alleviate it for me.

I now have a sponsor who helps me with only this problem. I also have an SA sponsor. I make telephone calls to others who share that they too have this problem with television and also with movies. There are not too many of us. We live pretty far away from each other.
