On April 26, 27, and 28th, the Northwest region met at Camp Kwomais in Surrey, British Columbia for the Celebrate Recovery SA/S-Anon retreat sponsored by the Victoria, B.C. intergroup. The camp overlooks the beautiful Puget Sound. The accommodations were rustic, and snoring abounded, but the fellowship was excellent. Experience, strength and hope around the 12 Steps, 12 Traditions and 12 promises was shared. New friends were made, and old friendships were renewed. Many thanks to the Victoria, B.C., group for a job well done. The next Northwest regional retreat will be sponsored by the Seattle intergroup and will be at Pilgrim Firs at Kitsap Peninsula on November 8th, 9th, and 10th, 1996.
