Editor’s Corner

In case you’ve been wondering why this issue of ESSAY is late (even with our non-schedule), you should know that letters, phone calls, and literature orders have also been running late. There was a bit of a crisis when our new secretary left without giving notice. Nan was unavailable to come back in and pinch hit until now, so we did the best we could with volunteer help from the local fellowship. When Nan did come back to help out with our new, new secretary, she had everything cleaned up in a couple of weeks! She has been a marvelous gift to SA, and we hope she can continue, at least part time.

Please note the Calendar; it’s our fullest yet. SAs are getting together all over!

An item of concern we’re airing again at this time is Central Office finances. We’re asking for groups and members to brainstorm the problem and come up with ideas.

The Miscellany section is a catch-all, but has some potent action items for you and your groups; don’t miss it.

Also, we want to encourage groups to pass along copies of ESSAY to all members; if need be, feel free to copy them.

Thanks to all the members who helped out on this issue!
