Dhahran, Saudi Arabia
There are still only the two of us, and we are both still struggling with Step One, but we have both made progress, and are glad to be part of a fellowship that addresses this particular problem. Some contacts have been made with other “loners” in the U.S. and U.K. and we shall continue to maintain them.
Warner Robins, GA
We have so much to be grateful for here in Middle Georgia. We have a real recovery program, with honest sharing and fellowship! At the first Friday night meeting in Warner Robins nearly six years ago, there were two addicts; for most of the time since then there have been only two or three regulars, with people coming in and dropping out, but no real growth. In many meetings, there was only one member present, along with the SA literature, of course. Now we have a meeting in Macon, as well as the original meeting in Warner Robins, and usually five to eight sexaholics take part in either meeting. Three members have at least a year of SA sobriety, and several others have a number of months or are approaching a year. Some of us call each other frequently, sometimes to report our powerlessness and sometimes to express gratitude for a day of sobriety. This is so much better than being alone with the disease!
