…I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how we are faring in San Diego county. In the seven months that I have been associated with SA, I have witnessed incredible growth, in our numbers as well as our sobriety. One of our largest meetings (Friday Night Men’s) recently had to change locations to accommodate its growth. Several new meetings have taken root in the northern reaches of the county. We have formed a San Diego county SA intergroup which is enthusiastically tackling opportunities for service and outreach.
For myself, I just want to thank Sexaholics Anonymous for being there when I finally had to face my addiction or lose my (way of) life. During 27 years of shame, humiliation, lying, fear, and insanity, I never thought that anyone could actually know these terribly disgusting things about me and still care for me. Thanks to God, SA’s members, and the 12-Step program, I have a new life today; one that is sober, happy, joyous, and free.
