Our next edition’s theme is “Made A Decision–-Giving Our Lives to God.” The whole purpose of the Steps is to enable us to give our lives to the “One who has all power.” Admitting our powerlessness over our addiction and lives moves me into hope, Step Two, and into decision-making time, Step Three. This decision to let God be the Director of our lives is the game changer where great things come to pass. The rest of the Steps are the way we live out that decision. Every time we are disturbed, we have the opportunity to decide again that God will run the show and not our selfishness. How do we celebrate this decision? Our SA shine is merely the joy for what God has done and is doing as a result of that decision.
