(May 9, 1991): Now that you have gladly welcomed me into the fellowship of SA, I feel very happy to walk with you in the Happy Destiny of sexual sobriety. Of course I have my own story to tell, a story of progressive defeat by lust since the early years of my childhood until that bright day when I admitted my powerlessness and turned my will and my life over to the care of God as I understand Him. How I wish I could be in an SA meeting to share my experience, strength and hope in this issue of my life. I am confident and unafraid of any sexual temptations of today, for I am one with all the other members of SA in the world who are trying to recover from this disease, one day at a time.

(May 25, 1991): …it is an amazing spiritual experience. God giving me, a sexaholic, a new vestment of purity and love. I am in the kingdom of Freedom at last. One day at a time, I unite myself with SA as I keep and share this with the next suffering sexaholic. I am sending the copy of my personal story as a tribute to SA and as a sign of my honesty. I am very grateful to God, who is doing this marvelous thing in my life through the fellowship of SA.
