“Taking actions to survive may be the driving force to work the Program of SA. It may even work, for a time. At some point, however, there is a deep decision, in Step Three, “to turn our lives and will over to the care of God…” It is this shift in purpose that allows us to look for and seize the opportunities that God provides for us to join him in his work for mankind. That work is in helping him care for others through acts of sincere, selfless kindness. That work becomes a practice, a way of life where not only acts of service are present, but the entire person is present with God in those moments: body, mind, and spirit."

  • Celebrating the Steps and recovering together in mixed meetings brought life to India’s first-ever convention. From 2020 onward, online meetings gave SA India a strong push, resulting in steady growth in both members and meetings.
